Pick out the grass, plant your flowers, and place stones around the flowers to prevent more growth.

Just weed the grass out. Placing some stones in the planter is a great idea, but until you have a chance to buy them just lay some old newspaper over the exposed soil to prevent weeds from growing. Oh, and don’t forget to weight the paper down with a few big rocks.

the flowers will absolutely not grow with the grass - this is the weed grass, it will take all the nutritions from weak flowers. u can take upper layer of earth away and after when u see any grass growing between your flowers just pull it out. u shoudl always keep earth clean from any unnecessary growth
