the compliments sure help make gardening easier, plus it looks great and you can go outside and just look at all that you did to make the garden look nice

Yes.

It is very eye pleasing.

Enjoyment.

It beautifies the yard and add personal touch to the property.

See if you can come up with few more things to add to this list.

I made a flower bed in my yard 20 years ago…I have been adding and deleting to it ever since. It’s got flowers planted from my kids and grandkids from mothers’ day, hospital stays, some just keep coming back…I put all my coffee grounds in the garden.Been recycling along time..and it makes the soil rich. I’ve got baby plants from my mother’s old garden…she’s now passed on..so yes, I enjoy my garden,it’s like a part of my family…I have wildflowers and domestic. I have a huge Texas stone, with flowers planted around it…I pick up sick plants and rehabilitate them…I re-pot some of them and give them as gifts…I love my garden,it’s a healthy habit….It’s a great habit to pass on to your family…My daughter has recently started her own garden and I gave her some of my plants to spread their love.

I LOVE to grow flowers and work hard all spring and summer. I have a very large flower garden in the front yard and get lots of compliments on it, which is pretty cool since I’m not one with many talents ;) Anyway, I spend tons of time out there planting, weeding and generally showing my beauties the love.

We moved here about 14 years ago from another state where I too had a big *ss flower garden and when we moved I brought many of those flowers with me and to this day they are thriving.

I get tons of benefits from it. First just seeing the product of all my hard work and I’m very proud of how beautiful it is, second it really is a hobby and it really is physical…I am one to really get down and dirty and let me tell you gardening is hard work, a great way to burn calories. Third, I love, love, love to go out in the morning and walk through my garden and smell my lovelies. Fourth, it is great to be complimented on it. Fifth, I love that I found something I am really good at. and Sixth my garden goes from spring through summer and into fall full of color because I have specific flowers in it to ensure I have blooms in every season.
