Do you mean on the tips? You should be cutting the tips off all the time so your basil gets more bushy enstead of long and pointy. Cut it back!
Just pinch off those flower spikes.or “top” them. This will keep the plants using energy to produce more leaves and not spend it making seed. Literally pinch them off, don’t use a knife or scissors. You can cook with those flowers by the way, same flavor as the leaves.
